You broke up with your ex. You took some time off… enjoyed yourself a bit, but you just can’t get forget him. Are you in love with him? Is she the one for you in your life?

Do you want to win your ex back?  If you had a close, loving relationship before, you may want to get back together again. But, you need to weight the pros and cons of getting back with your ex.  Yeah… you have a lot of emotional investment in the relationship, and you may not want to throw it away without an attempt to reignite the flame.

Here goes… if you are really serious in winning your ex back:

Step #1 – Analyze your own feelings.

Do you still care deeply about your ex?  Sometimes a great passion burns into being merely comfortable.  You don’t want to lose your ex because he’s like an old slipper.  But comfort doesn’t make a great relationship.  There has to be great love.  If you still have passionate feelings for your ex boyfriend, think twice… trice maybe, then move on to step #2.

Step #2 – Analyze and examining how your ex feels about you (it might just be over).

Does he have the same kind of grand love?  If the problems in the relationship were things you can work on – communication and understanding
- learning to show more affection
- being better groomed and improve your style
- removing negative mindset

then you can win ex back.  But, if the problem was deeper like irreconcilable differences, mutual unfaithfulness – he or she no longer is in love with you – you should start to move on now.

Step #3 – Make steps to win back your ex love

When you decide that the love that you have with your ex is special and irreplaceable, you can start working on the things that brought you together before.  For instance, think back to who you were when your boyfriend or girlfriend fell for you.  Perhaps:

- you weighed 10 pounds less,
- had a more optimistic outlook on life,
- were close to your girlfriends,
- or were involved in a variety of activities.

It is no doubt that everyone changes with time; we change and have new experiences.  But, if you want to win ex back, you need to go back to being the woman he fell in love with.

Another tip to how to win ex back is to practice detachment.  Don’t call, text, or stalk him.  You don’t want to appear desperate.  By  seeming to accept the situation, you actually become more desirable to him.

Step #4 – Be positive about yourself.

Begin to focus on what makes you happy.  Get reconnected to friends and family.  Take up hobbies and other things that interest you.  You become a more positive person in general.  This all helps in win ex back.

Step #5 – Use the past to your advantage.

From time to time, invite your ex to non-committal type events.  Ask him to join a group of your friends at a bar or invite him to a party.  Let him know he is free to bring a date.

The most important thing when you feel that you want to win your ex back is to love yourself and learn to love yourself and your life.  Everyone has their rights to what they decide in life… even if you know their decision is way out ‘wrong’ and you are right.  Life has its ways sometimes to let them be and let you be the way you are.  The most important thing is to be happy and learn to overcome negative feelings even if it comes to bug you daily.
